A thing or two about farmers' eggs

Ever since we have been getting eggs from farmers around NYC we have noticed the huge difference in color. Colors, to be precise- those of the eggshells and those of the yolk.
The eggshell colors vary, and are never the same in one cartoon.
The egg yolk is bright orange.
It says a ton about where these eggs come from and how they have been raised.
