Cloth Diapering Over the Ocean

I decided to take cloth diapers on our trip over the ocean. After   the unavoidable stuffing of the suitcase with all things giftable, I had little space left. But I could not NOT take cloth diapers on my trip.
My disgust with disposables has recently grown so strong that  every single one is like a little stab in my heart. So I literally stepped on the suitcase to make space and stuffed only about 10 prefolds and 5 fitted diapers and oh! my four brand new Blueberry covers. I was worried that since we do not have a drier in my folks' apartment and  since the washing machine is tiny- European style- and practically constantly going, I will not be able to cloth diaper at all.
I was soooo wrong. Since Ava has been delightfully and constantly serviced by baba and djado for all things baby but breastfeeding practically since arrival, I have been able to quickly handwash the peed on diapers 4 or 5 at a time and hang them to air dry. N#2 we've been somewhat successfully catching in the toilet.
Air drying here is a 24 hr affair but nevertheless it is a beautiful and a delightful one. And voila, I am cloth -diapering in Bulgaria. Awesome!
I do not know how popular cloth diapering is in Bulgaria currently, but I am eager to find out if any versions of it exists. I can't be the only one for sure. Certainly I must seem crazy to some to be the crunchy mama who brings her cloth diapers on trips thousands of miles from home. But to me what is crazier is using disposables all the time. And so our adventures with cloth go on. The plus side is how adorable my new covers are and how cute they look and how much I love seeing them on the cute bum.
