Making Wine

Today Ava's grandpa drove to Stara Zagora just beyond the Stara Planina mountain to buy 300kg of freshly picked Cabernet. The very same night he proceeded to "phase I" of making wine, which is to separate the grapes from the vine and to pour them in a giant traditional barrel. We all visited and admired the dark blue color of the magical grapes.
My father sent me to an array of neighbors in order to ask for different tools that will assist him in the process. The Bulgarian neighbor way of doing things. So familiar and simple.
Within a day, these grapes made the most amazing and sweet grape juice I have ever had. We strained some and drank it until we were sugar-rated. Guess what this juice will be turning into within 6 months? Yeah, wine. Homemade wine.
