I am a conservationist. I don't know that much about it. But I want to learn. I want to identify the appropriate organizations that I can learn from in order to start a career in conservation. I learnt so much from a beetle. How can I learn more?
I am not sure who exactly is saying this, because my identity is so split. But it does not matter.
The important thing is, we identified the beetle as the Asiatic Rhinoceros Beetle (only if he had lost his horn). Someone, a bird most likely, had eaten 3 of his legs as well, then dropped him by the side of the house, where Ava found him and adopted him. We fed him leaves and now, in post life, he is on the wall where we can study him.
For the record, I was a little afraid to touch the beetle and Ava was not at all. She even air kissed him, caressed him with her forefinger and then simply grabbed him and lifted him up.
Despite the loss of this one beetle, beetles will most likely outsurvive us humans because they have proven themselves on the battle called evolution. They make up for a large percent of all living creatures and are so adaptable that I humbly would love to continue learning from them every day.
