New York, the City we live in.

Girl dancing at a bus stop on Myrtle Ave.
In most cases, when people who have never been to New York think of New York, the popular images of Times Square, the Statue of Liberty and luxury shopping come to mind.
But New York has so many different sides and is so much more or so much less than that- depending on the point of view.
Here I am offering some street images of Brooklyn that I snapped on my way to a friend's bridal shower.

A sweeping view from the BQE as approaching Koscuizko Bridge.

Bench, bottle and graffiti.

School.

Mother and child.

Boys walking.

Under the BQE.

Coffee shop on Myrtle Ave.

Run-down business on Myrtle Ave.

A very typical combo in Bed Sty- Chinese and grocery. The calories of the restless.

Girl dancing.

Fashionable Girl.

And then you come upon this formidable structure. A former armory now shelter.

Shelter, detail.

Somehow this corner looks like it could be every corner in this part of town.
